    Biography

    Sarah Perren is a State Registered Podiatrist by profession. As a Healthcare Professional, she considers herself a hard-working individual with a strong drive to pursue a professional career. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Podiatry in 2017 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Podiatry in 2021, specializing further in Diabetes Care and Biomechanics. As a Podiatrist, Sarah possesses the integrity and confidentiality required to diagnose, treat, and manage pathologies of the foot across a wide range of patients, from those with high-risk conditions to children and athletes involved in sports.
    Over the past several years, she has been addressing and treating various anatomical and functional conditions of the foot, including corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, bunions, heel spurs, ankle and foot injuries, foot deformities, and infections. She also manages foot complaints associated with diseases such as diabetes, often ordering physical therapy and fitting orthoses as part of her treatment plans. In addition to her core qualifications, Sarah has completed two CPD (Continuing Professional Development) study units relevant to her expertise: Vascular Assessment of the Lower Extremities, which enhances her ability to assess the vascular status of the foot, and Clinical Education in Practice.
    Sarah finds her current role as a Senior Allied Health Podiatrist at the Diabetes and Endocrine Centre at Mater Dei Hospital highly motivating. Her educational credentials, combined with her personal interests, empower her as a clinician to treat her patients holistically. Furthermore, as a dedicated professional, she continually strives to expand her knowledge to enhance her competence in her job.
